Buying a home can sometimes seem slightly intimidating especially if it is your first home. However, buying a home isn't simply finding a place to live; it is an investment, a milestone, and a huge accomplishment!
Now, what are some of the pros and cons of purchasing your very own home? Well, to list a few...
• It's truly yours! Paint the walls, get shag carpet, install a chandelier, whatever YOU want!
• Your money is going towards something that is yours, not into your landlords pocket.
• Say you need to move, you can generate rental income.
• Current low interest rates allow you to own your home for less
• First time home buyers incentives! If you're a first time home buyer, you may not need to put any money down! Message me to hear about some of these options!
With that being said, there is of course some things to consider when purchasing as well! Home ownership is similar to owning a car, you're going to need to maintain it! And instead of an oil change, you may need to replace a water heater, get your AC recharged, or repair the roof! My suggestion to combat a good amount of these issues? ALWAYS get a great home warranty, it will pay off in dividends!
